How We Work
Step 1 – Collection Request
The process begins when we receive a request from a Food Business Operator (FBO). Our team schedules the collection and arrives at the specified location and time to pick up the Used Cooking Oil (UCO).
Quality & Measurement
Once the UCO reaches our facility, it undergoes a detailed quality check. We also accurately measure the collected oil to ensure fair and transparent transactions.
Treatment & Processing
The UCO is then sent to the biodiesel unit, where it is carefully treated to remove moisture and contaminants. This step is crucial, as only clean UCO can be used efficiently in biodiesel production.
Payment & Certification
We ensure timely payments to FBOs and issue certificates that confirm the safe and responsible procurement of UCO.
Continuous Operations
Our collection cycles are frequent and reliable. Once an FBO raises a new request, our team promptly schedules the next collection to keep the process seamless.

Why RUCO ?

At Envogreen Energy, we are a fully registered and approved aggregator under the Tamil Nadu Food Safety Department and an FSSAI-enrolled biodiesel manufacturer under the RUCO (Repurpose Used Cooking Oil) program

When edible oil is repeatedly used for frying, its properties change and harmful substances known as Total Polar Compounds (TPC) begin to form. Scientific studies have linked excessive TPC to serious health risks, including hypertension, atherosclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, and liver damage.

To safeguard consumer health, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has set a strict limit: once oil reaches 25% TPC, it must not be used for cooking. Since July 1, 2018, all Food Business Operators (FBOs) are legally required to monitor oil quality during frying and comply with these safety regulations.
